Email and Webmail How-2

Folks, interested in investigating possible alternatives, in their lifestyle choices, on-line, are sometimes reluctant to use their regular email address for correspondence. Poly Vegas  offers free Email and Webmail accounts for those who wish to be able to correspond on the net with some degree of anonymity

To obtain and use your Vegas BDSM email account these just follow these steps:

• Request an account by sending us an email at webmaster@VegasBDSM.com   . Indicate the User ID that you want and the initial password that you would like on your account. (you will be prompted for a password change the first time you make use of your Webmail access)

• You will get an email notifying you when your account has been created. If there was a conflict in the requested User ID and/or password, this note will include the modified information needed to access the account.

• To use your account;

  • Webmail

    Point your browser to www.VegasBDSM.com/Webmail. You will be prompted for your User ID and password. Please note that your UserID must be entered as a your web address. for example if your email address is RedHead @ VegasBDSM.com you should enter:
    RedHead @ VegasBDSM.com and your password.

    You will then be prompted to select a mail package to use. Your first time in you will be prompted to fill out some account preferences, you can always modify your choices by clicking on the monkey wrench (tools) Icon during a subsequent visit.

    Your mail quota is ten megabytes, please remember to move or delete mail once read.

  • Email

    Your email account can be accessed by most mail packages the instructions below relate to setting up your account with Microsoft ® Outlook

    • Use the tool bar to create a new account

    • Display name: Anything that you want, I use my email address for the account

    • Internet Email Address: The address you want folks to send mail to when you send mail from your VegasPolys account

    • My incoming email server is a POP3 Server

    • Incoming Mail Server: mail.VegasBDSM.com

    • Outgoing Mail Server: mail.VegasBDSM.com

      Note that some ISP's will not allow you to access a third party outgoing mail server on the net, in this case configure the outgoing mail server as mail.<yourISP> as you have your regular account set up, the ISP's mail server will send it out using the ID you enter under "Account Name"

    • Account Name: <UserID> @ VegasBDSM.Com, substitute your User ID as necessary

    • Password: Your password. remember to click on Save Password if you don't want to be prompted for your password each time you log on. You may wish to leave this unchecked if your machine is available to others.

Please edit your account, in Outlook, and under advanced properties unclick "Leave Mail on Server" if it is clicked, this will prevent your mail storage quota from being exceeded.
